Workout Day 3

I added in an extra walk last night with my wife. I also Worked out again today. Pushed myself a little bit further 23 minutes today (I went around the park an extra loop). So 5 minutes brisk walk, alternated 60 secs jogging and 90 secs walking. I am trying to do 3 sets of this a day for a total of around an hour

Workout for Day 2

Today I started again with a brisk walk for 5 minutes and continued on alternating 60 seconds of running with 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes. I did it twice yesterday, and plan on doing this for the rest of the week. 2-3 times a day. My goal is to get to a spot where I can run a 5K or even 10K race. Beautiful Day today, hoping to work in the yard this evening.

New workout regime Day 1

I am embarking on a brand new work out regime today, as I would like to feel in shape at least enough to run a 5K in a few months. The last couple months have been busy so thus working out has taken a back seat. In order to pace myself, this morning I went for a brisk 5 minute walk and alternated walking (90 secs) and jogging (60 secs) for a total of 20 minutes. I didn’t think this would make me tired, but it felt like more of a workout than it should have. So here’s to getting back into shape.

Fasting the Juice

My wife thinks I’m a bit crazy these days. I have decided to go on a juice fast for 40 days. I needed something to kick-start a healthier lifestyle and am officially 3 days in. Not much to report other than I am really craving coffee today.
